The Officiant Engagement Process
We are thrilled to walk alongside you on this wonderful journey! Our process is thoughtfully crafted to ensure your wedding ceremony is not only seamless and legally official, but a truly meaningful, joyful, and spiritually rich foundation for your life together.
Phase 1: Inquiry and Discovery

Clarity Call: Next, we'll schedule a 15-minute Discovery Call to get acquainted, discuss your ceremony needs and ensure alignment with our ministry values.

Availability Check: Kindly observe that, due to existing ministry commitments, Minister Thomas is unavailable for ceremonies and rehearsals between 6:00 PM on Fridays and 6:00 PM on Saturdays.
Phase 2: Booking and Preparation

Secure the Date: To officially book Minister Thomas, a signed service agreement and a non-refundable deposit (50% of the service fee) are required.

Premarital Coaching: To foster a lasting spiritual foundation, couples are strongly encouraged to participate in a premarital coaching or counseling program. While Minister Thomas retains the discretion to proceed without such preparation, engaging in at least five sessions of the SYMBIS program is our recommended standard for all ceremonies.

Ceremony Consultation: Once booked, we'll sit down together for your personalized ceremony consultation to customize your script and select special elements and meaningful personal touches like unity candles or sand ceremonies.
Phase 3: Final Logistics and Your Big Day

Marriage License Signature: Immediately following your ceremony, Minister Thomas will sign your official Texas Marriage License. Please ensure it is accessible and available for completion, without requiring an additional travel visit.

Final Payment: Any remaining balance is due 15 days before the wedding day so you can focus completely on celebrating!

Rehearsal: If you'd like Minister Thomas to attend your wedding rehearsal, let us know and we can coordinate scheduling. Kindly note that a supplementary travel fee may apply for this service.
Packages:
$125 - Elopement (Kiss & Sign) (15 minutes)
This package is for the couple only. The ceremony is held at our office location (Office at Grace Congregational Church, 11620 Cullen Blvd., Houston, TX 77047).
$200 - Wedding Bliss (Short and Sweet)
This wedding package is for the couple with a limit of 20 guests. The Wedding Bliss package includes vow exchange, ring exchange, and marriage license signature. Travel fees apply for all locations beyond a 20-mile radius from our office location.
$250 - Traditional Ceremony
This Traditional Ceremony wedding package includes a personalized ceremony tailored to include your love story, vow exchange, ring exchange, marriage license signature, pronouncement and blessing. Travel fees apply for all locations beyond a 20-mile radius from our office location.
** Refund Policy **
We understand plans change. Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance of the wedding date, will receive a FULL refund.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the wedding will receive a 75% refund.
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made the day of the event.

Q: What about last-minute requests?
A: Our heart is to serve every couple seeking a minister for their big day. If our calendar allows, that time belongs to you! Please reach out to discuss your needs or to request immediate assistance for a short-notice ceremony.
Q: Is premarital counseling a requirement?
A: While not mandatory, we warmly encourage all dating, engaged, or newly married couples to enrich their relationship through our specialized virtual premarital coaching to build a lasting foundation.
Q: Do you marry interfaith couples or those who have been previously divorced?
A: Yes. We believe marriage is a divine institution ordained by God for all men and women. Our only requirement is your mutual love and commitment to be married. We welcome all couples regardless of denominational background, history, race, color or religion, seeing every union between a man and woman as a joyful new beginning and a beautiful second chance.
Q: How do we obtain our marriage license?
A: You should contact the County Clerk in the specific Texas county where your ceremony will occur. Remember that a license issued in Texas is valid for use in any county across the state.
